All you need to start PAT Testing - a basic but good quality solid machine, perfect to get you started doing PAT Testing. This kit is everything you need to start PAT Testing in a school, care-home, charity shop, office etc, or even to start a business doing PAT Testing for other people.

We've based this kit around the fabulous BattPAT - from UK company First Stop Safety - it is a great little machine which has everything on it that you need, without lots of fancy bells and whistles that are unnecessary. A lot of people compare the BattPAT to the Seaward Primetest 50, which is around a similar price and works in a similar way, although the BattPAT has a neat feature for testing long leads, which isn't available on the Seaward device. For this reason alone, we recommend the BattPAT!

Important Points to note;

The BattPAT contains an internal battery which can be charged up using the included charger. You should easily get a day's testing out of a full charge - charge it overnight like a mobile phone.

First Stop Safety (the manufacturer) currently offer a lifetime warranty on the BattPAT, provided that it is sent back to them annually for a service and calibration check. This costs around £65 at the time of writing. This means that if any part breaks of fails they will repair it or replace for free.

The BattPAT is supplied with a certificate of conformity; which acts like a calibration certificate which is valid for 12 months from the date of sale. This is important because some machines are calibrated by the manufacturer but can then sit on a shelf in a warehouse for a year or more before being sold; they can be 'out of calibration' before you buy them. We usually have a very quick turnover of PAT Test machines, so it should only be a couple of months since manufacture before you received it - however the certtificate of conformity means that you still get a full 12 months from the date of SALE before it needs to be calibrated again. If you absolutely must have an actual calibration certificate (eg if you need to comply with a quality scheme such as ISO9001) then we can supply one at an additional cost.

Finally - due to product shortages at the moment, we may need to supply items which are different to those pictured. We will still provide a new PAT Tester and all the items will be included but we are having to source some of the additional items such as the screwdrivers from alternative suppliers. All the kits will be supplied with good quality items though.

Delivery is free for all orders over £99. Any order including a PAT Testing machine will be delivered free. Otherwise, there is a small charge for delivery, postage and packing; which will be calculated at checkout depending on the weight of the items ordered.
